MidbrowArt - Almost Nature

I find taking a good nature shot to be extremely difficult (and, I suppose, the argument can be made that I have yet to succeed).  I think you have to have an understanding and appreciation of the land and environment that goes beyond mine.  Natural wonders such as scenic vistas, sunsets, Aurora Borealis, etc.,  usually leave me standing agape thinking that no picture could ever do it justice.  Other photographers have come close to doing the earth and the skies justice.  I think I barely avoid insulting them.
